A gum resin highly valued as a perfume and as an incense. Used as a symbol of Christ's future suffering. Myrrh represented Christs death and resurrection. Middle Eastern regions used myrrh ceremonially, death and burial, the far east was using it for healing purposes. Renewal and transformation.
